There are still a few posts scheduled so hang around. I know it is now evening on the east coast so people are getting in from work etc. I see the comments starting to pick up. I’ve really been enjoying all the excerpts and adding books to that long, long list. Do you reckon we will ever get t the end of that list in this lifetime?? LOL

I’ve been a mythology fan since I was about ten or so and found a book mostly of Greek but some Roman and even a few other myths that one of my parents had as a child and I read it cover to cover. I was an avid reader from about six on and quickly got out of the kiddie books as they were too easy and kinda boring!!  Diana was a favorite of mine. I have not answered the poll on the sexiest but would probably go with one of the Celtic gods–kind of favor Lugh since he is associated with the sun and the Sun is definitely my thing! All that heat and power has to be hot, no??

So of course my favorite pantheon is the Celtic one also. I feel a strong connection to some of their goddesses–like Epona since I was a big horse lover all my life and of course Brighid or Bride or Brigit–name is spelled a zillion ways–and the Rhiannon since that is such a pretty, musical name. I even have a grand daughter named Rhiannon, and not totally for the Fleetwood Mac song ;-). My daughter was a reader too.

Anyway we have got two hours until the formal close and you can still read and talk after that, so have fun. I will be in and out.
