Hello viewers, this is my good night message.  I’m off to the fairgrounds for some summer fun. It is now 9 pm here in Logan.  I have one more trivia question for ya’s.  What is my favorite color?  Hint: It is in the American flag. I still want to give away my great poetry book. I’M THE ONE

I’m the one whose quiet and shy.

The one who holds things inside.

I’m the one who hides behind a smile.
The one who talks tough,

but is really meek and mild.

I’m the one who really listens.

The one who seeks love, but always misses.

I’m the one you can talk too

about anything and nothing.

I’m the one who works and plays hard.

The one whose wary and on guard.

I’m the one who enjoys being a mother.

The one who cares about others.

I’m the one who loves morning to dawn.

The one who hates envy, anger and wrong.

I’m the one who loves animals.

The one sometimes wasteful,

instead of economical.

I’m the one you can count on,

but feels awkward and doesn’t belong.

I’m the one who paints and sews.

I’m the one no one knows.

This poem describes me the best.

SOMETHING EVIL STIRS

Something evil stirs in my town.
A festering unrest.
A defiant unease, a growing anxiety.
Moving ever so softly,

like whispers on the wind.
This thing comes swiftly.
No warning-as silent as breath.
Drenched in malice, it nears.
A friend to chaos, sloth and death.
So quick-a malignant mass.
Leaving behind the useless and morally dead.
So forceful, that many become chaff.

Consuming everyone within its wake.
It fed well-as always.
Until the next time-devouring all.

Slipping into homes, like fog on the bay.

Youthful disenchantment suffocates all.
Beware the beast is red as fire.
A mass of hate and poison.
Our dictators battle the war with little success,
for the King and his court,

squabble like school boys.
Only socialism will sooth the beast.
An iron fist cloaked in velvet is needed.
Something evil stirs.
I am ready-standing tall and strong.
I draw strength from within.

Honor rules my mind.

Courage stirs my desire to win.
For the beast is-procrastination.
