The world has changed. The Great Families are no longer in power. Queen Nix of the Hands of Tarot has been stripped of her title and incarcerated. The League of Cities has been formed to provide a new line of defense to the smaller tribal nations.
But where are the leaders of this new League of Cities?
How long will the original leaders of the Great Families remain in the shadows?
Who was the real person behind the destruction of the El’Asim tribe?
As new answers come to light, the world morphs again. The old rulers regain power of the Great Families and band together to join the Justice Brotherhood, whose sole purpose, it appears, is to bring down the League of Cities and their alliance with the Hands of Tarot.
In the midst of all this, Synn and his friends must decide what the real fight even is, before they lose more family and friends to a war no one is certain why they’re fighting.
