Like so many women I wear a slew of different hats, sometimes more than one at a time. My most precious job is being a mother. I have three beautiful children, two boys and a girl under the age of twelve. I’m married to my college sweetheart and we’ve just celebrated our 16th anniversary this month.
Without my family’s support I’d never be able to juggle my two full-time jobs””writing and working. I’m a chemist by trade but my true love is writing, something I only discovered a couple of years ago. On a dare in the fall of 2012, I wrote my first romance, a shifter story later entitled, Unexpected Find. I entered it in a couple of contests, received a couple of contracts offers and signed with Ellora’s in June 2013.
Unexpected Find is the first of the Royal Pride series. Since its release in late Nov 2013, I’ve released a second story in the same series, Beautiful Mistake. The 3rd, Favorite Obsession, will be out soon. There will be more books in this series, but I’ll also be unleashing a brand-new series later this summer, the Wild Hunt, also going to Ellora’s.
So what do I like to write about?
Hot, possessive alpha males and the women who’ve captured their hearts. I believe in forever love and epic tales with a paranormal flare. Readers of my books are guaranteed an erotic, emotional and romantic journey with a happily-ever-after.
Some random facts about me…
~I’m a huge coffee addict. When I’m home, I always grind my own beans and use a percolator. Maybe it’s the gurgling sounds it makes. but I’m convinced this is the best way to make coffee.
~I love being outdoors. Hiking, biking and walking are some of my favorite ways to relax.
~I rarely watch TV. Honestly, I don’t have time, but I do enjoy movies and will try to squeeze in as many as I can. My favorite genres are Sci-Fi, action and horror.
~And of course, I love to read. My favorite authors include Laurann Dohner, Christine Feehan, Anne Rice and Nora Roberts.
