Hello everyone. It is so neat to be back! As most of you know I write erotic romance, both hetero and LGBT. Although I do put in some very hot scenes, my stories have a lot of plot to them and often the background and setting are almost another character. It is my hope this pulls a reader into the story even more by letting them use their senses to be there vicariously.
Men deal with romance –the emotional parts–a little differently than women, as a rule. Most of my m/m stories feature at least one guy who may not even be sure he is gay until he suddenly comes across the man of his dreams and it hits him like a ten ton truck. I stay away from the stereotypes of “gay” because I do not think they are fair or authentic.
The four tales in the print collection that I have for a prize today are like that and in each case, at least one hero’s profession provides an obstacle to his creation of a relationship. The collection is titled Duty and Daring. That pretty well sets the tone.
I’ll talk more about one of my favorites which is in this book in a minute. Here’s a peek at the collection cover.
