Hi ya’ll, my name is Deborah J Panger and I’m  an author of romantic and erotic fiction. I hope your having a fantastic day.  After much contemplation on a topic to discuss today, I’ve decided since I make my home on the beautiful Mississippi Gulf  Coast, what more important topic can there be, then the horrific oil spill that is threatening my community, my neighbors, my friends.   This tragedy has affected so many livelihoods along the shoreline from Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Florida.  We sit on pins and needles waiting to see where the oil will come on land as we go through our daily routine and lives.  Last week, a friend and I attended a volunteer class to learn how to pre-clean the beaches in preparation for oil.  It was an interesting and informative class, yet it brought to mind how little everyone knows of the degree of impact the oil will bring.    Where will it go? Will it come here?  How will if affect our economy?  Tourism?  Wildlife?  Marine life?  Who’s to blame?  The questions go on and on.     In my opinion,  President Obama is doing a sufficient enough job in tackling the problem, and I commend him for blasting the executives of BP, Transocean and Halliburton for all the finger-pointing going on of who’s to blame.  At this point I really don’t care who is at fault, I just want the spill to be capped and for compensation for all who will be affected.  Remember, these are just my own thoughts on the crisis and I welcome your own thoughts or ideas on this subject. Or any subject you want to discuss today.  I love to talk. 🙂
