I almost get teary eyed thinking that this is my last Book Brew. Gosh, I have made some great friends here and had almost more fun than ought to be legal. I can’t believe it has been right at five years.

Still, I know it is time to move on. The last couple of years I have had some intermittent vision problems that sometimes limit or curtail my computer time and I realize I need to put most of that to my own writing from here on, at least for awhile. I have extreme dry eyes plus allergies and trying to keep both conditions in balance is tricky. Mu sight can go blurry very quickly and I have had days I was not able to drive or  do anything that needed good vision–kinda scary. So this is one of the things I have to stop.

I have total confidence that Barb will do Book Brew proud. I hope she will pop in briefly to introduce herself today but if she is not able to, you will meet her in 2016. I know she’s going to re-energize things and bring in some new life and ideas. I will help her as I can but it’s time for a fresh outlook!

I promise not to be a total stranger and when either Gwynn or Deirdre has a book that fits–if themes are still used–I will be here with that. I’ll also read like a regular reader and probably comment!

I just want to thank all the readers and authors who’ve joined us here and made this a special event since way back in 2010! It’s all for and about you and you’ve made it a great experience for me in many, many ways! So it’s hasta luego as we say here in New Mexico but far from Goodbye.

Yes, it’s not over for this day but I wanted to get this said before it was quite the end. So keep talking and posting and commenting and enjoying and I’ll see y’all down the book trail into forever!
