Hello Everyone and welcome to my post for Santa Watch. It’s the most wonderful time of the year. And, even after all these years, no one says that like Andy Williams.
When I was a child, Christmastime television shows brightened the early evenings. One of my favorites were re-runs of the The Andy Williams Show. (A sample of The Andy Williams Show is available at Amazon Prime Video, free for Prime members.)
“Scary ghost stories and tales of the glories of Christmases long, long ago”¦” Surely nothing fits this line better than A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens. We all have our favorite versions of classic movies. I love the version of “A Christmas Carol” with Alastair Sim (1951). (I have seen it alternately titled “Scrooge”.) And it’s not just me saying this. Slate Magazine has called this movie: “”¦the Best Christmas Film of Them All.” Here’s a quote from the article: “Watching it feels less to me like watching a movie, and more like standing before some kind of magic visual portal, one that could have existed in the actual Victorian age (when our story takes place), with the assistance of a few haunts.” I completely agree.
A highly underrated and often missed Christmas ghost movie is titled “Beyond Tomorrow”. It is a movie about three gentlemen, friends during their lives and now as ghosts, united in their efforts to bring romance to two young lovers at Christmas. This movie is available to watch for free on Amazon Prime.
Another of my favorite Christmas movies is called “I’ll Be Seeing You.” This is a movie about a war veteran who is suffering from PSTD. He meets a young woman who is on Christmas furlough from a woman’s prison. Their immediate attraction and friendship promises to blossom into something more but can they overcome all their personal difficulties to be together?

Erotic Romance, Georgian Historical set in USA. Now Available on Amazon and Coming Soon to Barnes & Noble: Alex’s Angel, Book Three in the Wild, Wicked and Wanton Series ~ Novel Length 100,000+ words
“I’m becoming a steadfast fan of Natasha Blackthorne. She writes the most heated, sexually charged historical novels that I’ve read. And it’s not just the sex in these stories that keeps me coming back, but its also her writing. It’s just fabulous, it’s the main reason why I’ll keep reading her books. She’s taking women from a period where you were actually only seen and not heard and she’s empowering them.
These women are strong mentally, physically and sexually and they are taking control of their sometimes dire situations. But lets not forget the men in these stories. They are strong men, A man’s man. Men who expects a lady to act as a lady should, but still remain the strong woman she is.
All and all, another awesome read. I LOVED it. Please pick this one up and any other book in the “¦ series, you will not regret it and you will definitely be hooked.” ~ Salacious Reads
