Okay, inquiring minds want to know. Who are your favorite Urban Fantasy authors? The genre has been around long enough now that I know some have amassed a huge following of fans but also that new writers are jumping into it every month with creative and  wonderful books! So which ones do you like best?

I have to admit that I am slow getting in to the latest fads. Back when Sci fi and fantasy were just getting huge, I was about the last one to find and dive into Tolkein, Ursula LeGuin, Marion Zimmer Bradley, C.J. Cherryh and all the rest. So I still have not really read Laurel Hamilton and a bunch of the others. I do love Eileen Wik’s Lupi series and have read most if not all of them.  I knew Eileen when her first Silhouette book came out and enjoyed all her regular romances but these  UF books are way better! I’m also a fan of Ilona Andrews KAte Daniels and also the Edge series. The shifters in the first series are to die for and the horrible critters in the Edge series that give the protagonists a very tuff time are just incredibly nasty, powerful and evil!!
