If you’re traditionally published only, are you considering self-publication? The Twenty-first Century Author

If you’re traditionally published only, are you considering self-publication?  Did you receive the level or quality of editorial and marketing support for your book(s) that you expected?

Vicky Dreiling

I’m traditionally published, have a very talented editor, a fantastic copy editor, and the folks in production are super. The covers are fantastic. I have thought about publishing a nonfiction marketing book for writers as I had a terrific response from a marketing class I taught for RWA.

Regarding marketing, there is never enough support.  More could always be done but publishers have more than one author to consider.

Donnell Ann Bell

I received excellent editorial and marketing support.  Bell Bridge took out ads, entered contests on my behalf and promoted my book to book distributors to get my name out to the readers.

Because I self-published and had already proven my ability to write and sell books, I’ve had a unique and wonderful publishing experience with my publisher. I know not everyone can say the same. It is hard to find quality editorial help in the self-publishing world”¦but it’s important to have editors you trust in both worlds. Montlake is amazing about getting my feedback for cover art and they listen if I need/want more editorial help.
