I can say from my seat that it was a blast and I have slid thru the first really hot day  just as painlessly as you please!  We have about an hour to go and there are still a few posts scheduled to come out before closing time so don’t give up. Also several of our authors have ‘day jobs’ or other demands so they won’t be able to come and respond comments until they get home which will depend on what time zone they are in! So if you commented and want a response, don’t give up just yet.

As for the drawings, all the ones that we who are CTR staff are handling will be done tomorrow to be sure that everyone who checks in late after work etc will have a fair chance to be drawn too. I will give a prize from each of the polls as I promised–I am not sure yet myself what it will be in each case but I am pretty sure you will like it! Besides reading and writing I do quite a lot of art and crafts stuff–make the quilts we sometimes give away and jewelry, especially, so you never know!

I’ll be checking back to approve comments thru the evening so I am not going away yet but I do need to handle a few chores shortly. I expect the temperature has dropped a teeny bit and as the sun goes down it will cool off pretty well. That is one neat thing about the desert. By morning I will be shivering in bed if the cooler stays on!

Oh, the trip I said I’m planning? The end of July I am going to Alaska for three weeks!! Right now I am not sure if we will have a Book Brew on August 4 or not. If we don’t, we’ll do a bang up celebration in September! If one is held, it will be run by Karenne and Sabrina so I’ll let you know next month if you get a vacation or not ;-).

But we will be here on July 7 with the theme of military romances and stories set in war and conflict, past, present and future, in short “Love and War.”  I already have several authors signed up and more will join in, I am sure! If you are on vacation then maybe you can follow us with your tablet or smart phone!
