Once again, we have come to the close of another Santa Watch. As always, it’s been a real pleasure spending time with our old friends, and it’s wonderful meeting new friends. We hope you’ve enjoyed spending time with the wonderful authors who took part in this year’s Santa Watch. We will choose all winners tomorrow and announce them on the blog.
We will say goodnight, and wish all a very safe and happy holiday, and all the best for the new year. Lastly, we leave you with this final wish:
Sitting Under The Mistletoe
Sitting under the mistletoe
One last candle burning low,
All the sleepy dancers gone,
Just one candle burning on,
Shadows lurking everywhere:
Some one came, and kissed me there.
Tired I was; my head would go
Nodding under the mistletoe
No footsteps came, no voice, but only,
Just as I sat there, sleepy, lonely,
Stooped in the still and shadowy air
Lips unseen – and kissed me there.
