Hey all, BethAnn here!   Thanks so much to CTR for hosting today.  I think having a Heroes in Uniform day is a terrific idea and I’m excited to share a bit about an upcoming series that I have the honor to be a part of.

As part of the Wicked Muses team, I have the pleasure of sharing my writing life with some very talented folks and their muses.  While we were gabbing one night, JL came up with the idea that we needed to start a new joint venture.  We knew we wanted to write about hunky guys and JL suggested a military theme.  I tossed in a steamy spring break read would be fun and before the night was over, Force Recon””Beacon Bayou was born.  

Writing military romance is a comfortable fit for me as I spent several years as an Army wife.   Given that I survived a Desert Storm deployment and several SEER training events, I found writing my Force Recon man, Brogan Baker,  both comforting and challenging at the same time.  I have so much respect for our military personnel and their families and I wanted to bring those feelings to the surface in Brogan’s story.

Brogan is the resident bad boy of the team and after a string of failed relationships, Brogan is questioning his sexuality.  But surely teammate Regan Maxwell can’t be the answer to Brogan’s problems, can he?  Besides, Regan’s a former Hollywood pretty boy just trying to prove he has what it takes while keeping one foot firmly planted in the closet.  The question is, can the two men foster their growing relationship and survive their jobs?
