Join us for the next “Meet Your Author” event at Lovestruck Books. This events series gives you the opportunity to meet with your favorite author, purchase books directly from them, and have your copy signed!

This signing on Sunday, August 3 from 1-3 PM will feature six authors from The Fantasy Author Legion including Kathryn Marie, Arcadia Rayne, Elizabeth Skarpnes, Taylor Lynn, Allie Maddox, and N.E. Valla with copies of their recent release as well as an assortment of backlist titles.

This event is free but we ask you to RSVP on eventbrite to attend.

ACCESSIBILITY

You may enter through our front entrance on Brattle Street. If you have any accessibility needs, you’re welcome to use our side entrance (located on the right side of the building), which is wheelchair accessible and has a ramp.

Guests who would benefit from priority seating or any additional assistance are encouraged to reach out in advance — just email us at events@lovestruckbooks.com. We’re more than happy to make arrangements to ensure you feel comfortable and supported.

ABOUT KATHRYN MARIE

Kathryn Marie is the indie author of the fantasy series, the Kazola Chronicles and the Midnight Duology. She began writing at the young age of thirteen, when she was stuck in bed recovering from spinal surgery. Ever since then, she’s loved creating stories for others to enjoy. When she is not at work or busy writing in her home office, Kathryn can be found spending time with her wonderful husband or friends, experimenting with new makeup techniques, or watching reruns of her many beloved TV shows.

ABOUT ARCADIA RAYNE

Arcadia Rayne is a fantasy romance author based in Boston, Massachusetts. Originally from Baltimore, MD, Arcadia developed a passion for storytelling from a young age. After receiving her Bachelors Degree in Psychology from the University of Maryland she went on to pursue a Master’s and PhD at Boston University. Arcadia is passionate about creating fantastical worlds with strong characters. She loves all the tropes. When she’s not writing, Arcadia enjoys binging reality tv and crocheting.

ABOUT ELIZABETH SKARPNES

Elizabeth Skarpnes is a lifelong writer who is finally putting words to the page. Her works explore themes of trust, experiencing new cultures, and leaving home for the first time through the lens of powerful female characters. She is a writer by necessity, developmental editor by passion, and nurse by trade. She owns the Second Cup Writers Cafe, a community for writers to connect with others and make friends.

Located in the United States, she grew up on the southeast coast and currently lives in the New England area with her husband and three cats.

ABOUT TAYLOR LYNN

Taylor Lynn (she/her) works as a recruiter in the entertainment industry. An avid reader and writer, she has always loved the art of storytelling and hopes to create worlds that immerses readers into the adventure. In April 2024, she released her first book, Essence and Runes, the start of a fantasy series filled with adventure and romance. Book two in the series, Serpents and Shadows, is heading to shelves near you in June 2025. Located right outside of NYC, When she’s not writing (or reading) you can find her exploring new restaurants in the city, binge watching her favorite shows, or spending time with her partner and pup. ABOUT ALLIE MADDOX

Allie lives in Massachusetts with her husband, two kids and two giant dogs. She enjoys reading fantasy, romance, dark romance and sci-fi/paranormal romance. Her debut novel was A Tale of Love & Bones, the first book in the Daughters of the Keeper trilogy and she has continued to write dark romantasy and dark paranormal romance since then! 

ABOUT N.E. VALLA

Nadya (pen name: N.E. Valla) is a debut fantasy writer who works as an ICU RN by day and writes by night.

Born in Florida, Nadya was raised in a bilingual household with her first language being Swedish. Her Scandinavian roots heavily influenced her first fantasy series, Heirs of Fate, as Norse mythology and Viking history has always fascinated her. She moved to Pittsburgh, PA when she was 19 and now lives with her partner Nick and two cats, Nibbler and Captain Hook.

When she isn’t working or writing, Nadya can be found curled up with a book, exploring new spots in her city, traveling to Finland to spend time with her family and other new places (when she can), and spending time at home baking, cooking, or competing for her house champion title in Mariokart.
