Good day all! The sun is trying to come out here but it is gray enough that I can tolerate being indoors. After winter, even here in the desert where we get more sun than most places, I am so greedy for the warm, sunny days when they first show up!! It hit 76 yesterday and the wind was not terrible so I was lounging on the south facing covered patio much of the day!  Yes, I do run on solar energy!

Of course I favor Celtic or at least Celtic descended characters! I’m sure that might be guessed from my name LOL. One of my favorite stories at Amber Allure is the first of my Thin Green Line series about the new element of the US Border Patrol whose mission is to resist invasion from real out-of-this-world aliens! When I wrote Beyond the Shadows I didn’t really envision a series but it kind of grew like an onion, layer by layer. However the two heroes of Shadows are both definitely of Celtic heritage and since it is paranormal or rural fantasy, a past life they shared is a very integral part of the plot!

Actually one hero in the second story, Wings of Love, is Celtic too, since his mother was from Scotland and he spent much time there as a child.

Today I am going to give away a print copy of The Thin Green Line, vol 1. It has these two stories plus Runes of Revelation.  As the series goes on, characters from earlier tales often do appear in at least cameo roles as secondary characters which lend more continuity to the tales. I have two more toward a second print volume and I’m thinking about another to at least round things out. We’ll see what shapes up in time.
