Karen Swan worked as a fashion editor before moving into writing fiction. She is married with three children and lives in the Ashdown Forest in East Sussex, writing her books in a treehouse overlooking the South Downs. Hi, Karen! I was first drawn to the fact that you wrote in your treehouse. When I was a little girl, I spent as much of my summers as I could in my tree in the front yard reading all day. It is a wonderful memory and thus began my huge passion for reading.
