Catherine is one of the best historical writers and she always has a twist in her books.  One of my favorites is called Summer Breeze and is a part of the Coulter series.  The heroine in this story has boarded herself up and never steps foot out of her home due to the savage attack that occured 5 years before.  It is an unusual story line that made the book so very interesting.  She also writes modern stories and the one I like the most of those is her book called Baby Love.
