Desperate to be free of the responsibilities and oppression laid upon her by her strict father and society, Helena Katherine Hawkes leaves Victorian England’s Southend-On-Sea to write her own path. She joins a band of air pirates in hopes that her life will be full of adventure and freedom, but unfortunately, not everything goes as planned. Despite her best efforts to thwart him, Kate is pursued by the Governor’s son, Wallace Halding, to whom she is betrothed. He vows to catch her, and take back what is rightfully his, regardless of who he has to kill, and what he has to do in order to get her.
