INKED IN THE MUSIC
Rating: 4 Cups
Zirah ran from a life she discovered was all a lie. She picked up her violin and with the bag on her back and all her money in her pocket, she walked out and ran as far as she could to start her life over. When she gets to her destination, she finds a group of friends who do all they can to help her. There is one, Dennis, who makes her feel things she never thought she could or would feel.
Dennis meets Zirah, and from the first moment, her innocence drew him in. Z is like no woman he has ever met and finds he enjoys her company. She has lived a vastly different life and is innocent to many worldly things, but she is the sweetest woman and he loves her.
Zirah loved and trusted Dennis and never once thought he would ever love her, but he says he does. Unfortunately, Dennis has a different definition than she does, and in the end he caused her more pain than even the nightmares from her past. When her world falls apart once again, and among the ashes stands Dennis, can she forgive him and move forward, or will she ever regret her past?
The story of Zirah and Dennis takes the reader on a rollercoaster ride of every high and low you could imagine. Just when you think the story has hit a low, you realize you really are only hit a bump and there is more to come. I never saw the story going where it did and despite wanting to beat some sense into Dennis and wanting to hug Zirah the rocky road does have a light at the end of the tunnel. Inked in the Music is a solid love of the realities of life and just where destiny can take you. I enjoyed the writing of Ms. Rose and will be reading more from her in the future.
