That is where Peter comes in. Ted is pretty sure Peter is the real thing, and he might even be helpful since he has a background in Marine Archeology, but Ted has been burned before, and by someone he thought loved him, so he has to be sure that Peter is not someone who is looking to use Ted to find his own buried treasure. So Ted meets Peter in a bar and finds himself incredibly attracted to the younger man, and to top it all off, it is clear that the attraction is mutual. There is only one problem, will Peter still be willing to fake being his boyfriend, and maybe even more if things work out, when he finds out that the bored older millionaire he is supposed to play companion to for the summer is Ted?
I absolutely LOVED His Treasure Hunting Billionaire! Honestly, I usually avoid billionaire romances because I find I rarely like them and the market is so saturated with that type of story these days. However, this book is the true treasure. I really enjoyed the marine archaeology lessons, as well as, the very real problems of having a relationship when all you really want is to find someone to love, not someone who is going to use you to find treasure. Ms. Mulberry does a delightful job of bringing Ted and Peter together, and the love scenes are erotic and tasteful. I also loved that it was not all smooth sailing, these two had to work to make their relationship work, and the uncertainty at times really kept me on the edge of my seat. Add the paparazzi, and Ted’s crew, some of whom have been with him for years, and this is just a really fun book to read. If you are looking for a fun read that will keep you turning the pages, then I highly recommend His Treasure Hunting Billionaire by Ms. Mulberry.
