Ms. Hill writes a thriller and mystery book like no other. She provides something out of a nightmare and then disguises it so the reader is left wondering just where the evil is hiding. I love the characters, even the ones who left the reader with a bad taste in their mouth. The story moves from the present to the past and back again seamlessly and provides the reader key information while still leaving them in the dark. I love the writing and the small town the author created. I highly recommend the writing of Ms. Hill and From the Painted Tomb.
