Justine Davis writes a moving story which provides characters a reader can become attached to.  She draws the reader into the Last Stand and entices them to never want to leave.  I love the small town where everyone knows everyone and it adds to the romance.  Once you step into this small town you will go looking for the other books in the series because you will never want to leave.
