Rita Bay has lived and traveled in the eastern US and most of Western Europe. Her journey first started on the Gulf Coast. She managed to juggle family and work to partake in archaeological digs, even earning a black belt in Shotokan karate. Rita has also volunteered with Education Services and the American Red Cross Disaster. She has been busy working other jobs and completed several historical and paranormal novels and novellas. Rita has a blog where anyone is welcome to visit where she daily posts random bits of trivia for lovers of western history and culture. I love her style of writing, and His Obsession is a terrific story that indeed left a lasting impression.
His Obsession is an absolutely compelling read. Emmy is a dynamic character who keeps the reader suspended in time with each turn of the page. I could feel her anguish and despair, as well as Robbie’s over his loss when he thought she was dead. Robbie’s father is an arrogant ugly man. He needs to be horsewhipped. Rita Bay creates a story that leaves a lasting impression. She molds strong characters, and vigorous dialogue that spellbinds the reader. This well-crafted story is one that this reader could read again and again. Not only is this story extremely well-worth the read but truly endearing until the end.
