March is already upon us. To me, March signals the start of the spring, even when it goes out like the proverbial lion. Here are 13 of my favorite things about March:
1. St. Patrick’s Day
2. Spring is right around the corner.
3. No observances featuring obnoxious rodents who live in the ground.
4. Seeing the first buds popping on trees
5. Kite flying
6. Humming the song “Against the Wind” as I run against the wind
7. Three months until I have to squeeze into a swimsuit – time to lose those pesky winter pounds
8. Three months until I have to squeeze into summer sheath dresses – time to buy some Spanx
9. Catching up on all the Oscar nominees I didn’t see in the theater when they come out on DVD
10. Spring fever
11. No shopping holidays this month!
12. Weekend getaways to the beach before the tourist crowds hit
13. Did I mention, spring is right around the corner!!!
