T. C. Archer Love Through Time

Hi, we’re Evan Trevane and Shawn M. Casey, the writing team that makes up T. C. Archer. Today, we’re going to talk about our latest release Sasha’s Calling, an erotic space opera. For those unfamiliar with space operas think Star Wars and Battlestar Galactica. Space operas are a subgenre of science fiction that is fast paced with high adventure and usually high stakes. Remember how Luke and Leia had to save the universe from the evil Emperor’s rule? Leia even managed to find love along the way and Luke found himself. That’s space opera at its best.

Of course, like any other subgenre of science fiction, space operas offer all kinds of space weirdness. In Sasha’s Calling you’ll even find the Old West’s Pinkerton Detectives have survived and are the bloodhounds that are on our heroine’s trail. Their motto we always get our man is still true in our version of the future. Of course, they will chase the occasional woman as well””when she’s an outlaw.  Sasha’s ready for any eventuality, however, as evidenced by the Omegatran that’s strapped to her hip and the breasts she’s upsized from her natural C cup too double DD.’s for this mission. (Yes, ladies, in this future there is a product available that allows women to change their breast size as they please. Ain’t science fiction great?)

It’s a gamble which someone will notice first, however, the weapon at her hip or the ones on her chest. The Omegatron is a futuristic version of the sawed off shot gun””Sasha’s weapon of choice, and one of the most expensive weapons in the galaxy. When Sasha is forced to flee the Centorian space port she’s on, she does her best to draw attention away from that Omegatron. That’s when the one eventuality she didn’t plan for happens: Dirk Roscoepilot.  Tall, blond, and as smart as they come, Dirk is ready for Sasha””though she doesn’t know that.

Whether it’s a historical romance or romantic science fiction, love is love. Still, things can’t help but change as time progresses. How much and what are the questions we tackle in romantic science fiction. In our future, women still love strong men, and men have learned to value strong women””even if the men can’t help but try to be just a little bit better than the women they’ve come to appreciate. Some things won’t change!

Instead of staring out a window at snow-capped mountains in the distance, our lovers look out the portal of a space ship to admire the beauty of space but, thankfully, beauty is beauty, and that’s how romance finds its way through time.
