I hope you had a chance to read my blog this morning and share some of your thoughts about the great variety of romance novels we get to choose from…especially with guidance and suggestions from such a great site as CoffeeTime Romance.

I’ll be stopping back again later to check the comments on my morning post and draw two names to win a copy of The Third Wish, my first novella in the Shadow of Esagil series from Sapphire Blue Publishing.  The series continues by following the captivating trail of jinni Ashura-Goreem, who risks everything for love in The Genie’s Curse.  He is bound to the beautiful Miraphet, but soon learns that to save her, he must betray her.

Writing about genies is thrilling.  These mystical and somewhat mythical figures look like, act like, and love like humans.  I say ‘mythical’ because many people believe they are real: one of three figures of creation along with humans and angels.  Angels were formed of pure light; humans from earth; and genies from the smokeless flame.  They eat, sleep, and make love…always a good aspect for a romance novel.   What do you think of these paranormal figures?
