Dog Biscuit Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 Cups Flour
- ¾ Cup Oatmeal
- 1/3 Cup Wheat Germ
- ¼ Cup Peanut Butter Smooth
- ¼ Cup Vegetable Oil
- 2 Tbsp Honey
- ½ tsp Baking Powder
- ½ Cup Water
Glaze
- 1 Large Egg
- 2 Tbsp Milk
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 275 degrees F.
- In a large bowl,combine oatmeal, wheat germ, peanut butter, vegetable oil, honey, baking powder and water.
- Mix until thoroughly combined. Roll the dough out to ½inch thickness on a floured surface. Cut into desired shapes-holiday trees-Valentine hearts- bunnies etc. Place on baking sheets.
- In a small bowl, mix the egg and milk. Brush the glaze on the biscuits and bake for 40-50 minutes or until biscuits are golden and firm.
