In order to better help the indie and small published, InD’Tale magazine is offered free, as are the professional book reviews. We monetize by author and business advertisement.
How long have you been in business? How many clients have you represented? We have been publishing for a year and a half now and boast appr. 12,000 readers each month, with that number growing steadily.
What’s the difference between book promoters and book marketers? Which are you? Promoting helps and encourages someone without expectations of monetary gain. Marketing promotes someone with monetary gain in mind. We do both.
What information do you need from authors who hire you? Author’s don’t hire us, they advertise with us.
Are you a sole proprietor or do you have staff/assistants who help you? Are you personally involved with every client? Although I am the owner/publisher, InD’tale has a staff of 29 amazing people that help.
Why should authors hire a marketer or publicist? Authors should take advantage of all InD’Tale has to offer. The advertising is priced very affordably, and is one of the best ways to acquaint the reading public with your book and your name. Submitting an article for publication shows people your writing style and introduces them to you (we offer a free full page ad in compensation upon publication of all articles, so your books will be advertised as well!) Our column, “Booked for Dinner” is another way to promote yourself….. just browse through the magazine and you’ll see why you should be a part!
In your experience, which genre or genres benefit most from the services you provide? Any genre out there that incorporates a bit on romance in it will benefit from our services.
If there is such a thing as an ideal client, what would that author look like, or what traits would s/he exhibit? And ideal client is anyone who writes well or loves to read!
Realistically, what kinds of results can authors expect after purchasing your services? A boost in sales, name recognition and exposure to a much wider audience.
