LIFE’S PATH

Memories dwell,

as yesteryears keep.

Besieged by loneliness.
Painful secrets to weep.
Dreams of winter
fade to spring.
Festivals of lights, one man’s joy-another’s plight.

A gentle kiss,
precious as eiderdown.
Prelude to a future.
Love finally found.
Youthful smile fades,
like April into May.
