Loose Id: The 21st Century Publisher:

logoLoose Id is a leading publisher of erotic romance. The California-based company is an acknowledged industry leader with almost nine years in business, operating in the black since the end of our second quarter back in 2004. It publishes between 16 and 24 titles per month by more than 200 talented authors worldwide, unleashing readers’ fantasies with a full panoply of erotic romance subgenres, ranging from bdsm capture fantasy to yaoi, and including exceptional traditional favorites, contemporary and historical.

The company promotes itself through web and print advertising wherever readers of erotic romance may be found, creating a recognizable brand identity as the place to let your id run free and the people who unleash your fantasies. It is currently pursuing licensing agreements for foreign translations, and developing a print program of 2 to 5 titles per month. From 2004 to 2008, Loose Id experienced unprecedented growth, with revenues increasing by as much as 700% annually. Profitable since its second quarter, fiscal responsibility is the corporate priority in all business dealings.

Since opening its doors, Loose Id has sold over 1 million books. As a company, Loose Id strives to provide the stories readers want and the service they deserve. It is committed to profitability, good corporate citizenship, fair contract practices, and developing talented authors through editorial support. Loose Id also turns its eyes to the future, with managed expansion into emerging markets such as virtual reality and interactive storytelling.

Ultimately, it is the company’s ability to unlock the doors to perception, enrich readers lives, and unleash their fantasies that drive corporate success and its ability to push romantic fiction to the edge and beyond.

Loose Id is love unleashed. We’re taking romance to the edge.
