Who Gets New Endings in the Mythological Messes Redux series

I’ve told you how I got involved in Ancient Greek mythology, now I’ll share with you whose tales I took the liberty to add a new ending.

Hephaestus Laws Down the LawHephaestus!  Who doesn’t love the God of the Forge!  I was not pleased with how his fellow immortals and his wife, YES, WIFE! treated him.  Even his own “supposed” mother was mean and I’m sorry, that worked on my last nerve.  The god was married to Aphrodite and we all know how much catting around she did.  I have him the opportunity to give his significant other an ultimatum … shape up or get out.  [Hephaestus Lays Down the Law – all romance and amazon]

The next tale I took on was actually a well known duo … Leda and the Swan, otherwise known as Zeus.  The god of all gods left her to take all the back lash of their interlude on her own and went on his merry way.  B*stard!  Well, there’s a twist to this one in that she doesn’t seek him out for revenge but for help with their children … the twins that aren’t really twins who were tossed into the sky to reside with the stars.  [Tolimbogether Again? – all romance and amazon]

The third story naturally follows with Castor and Pollux as the heroes.  Because of ego and inattention to his children, one of the twins is not granted immorality by Zeus at birth.  No body thought this was a big deal until he lay dying.  Faced with a chance of losing his twin, the other makes a devilish deal to have them both be thrown into the stars to live in limbo … how honorable!  I had to take these two one step further and give them a chance away from the stars.  [Double Punch – all romance and amazon]

Next is kind of self-explanatory.  Back in Hephaestus story three specific Cyclopes [Brontes, Steropes and Arges who work with him] helped with his challenge for Aphrodite, but something big came from this moment … a chance at love.  Oh man, they are a delightful trio who will do anything to protect the nymph they love and if that means taking on Dionysus in the middle of a party, then they will.  Even if they might be having relationship issues, don’t mess with their woman.  [Cyra’s Cyclopes – all romance and amazon]

Tied Up For Love by Tilly GreeneFrom there I went with a friend of Cyra’s and a lesser known creature who is actually very important.  Marsyas was the last Ipotane … I know, I hear you, we aren’t taught about them in school, what are they?  The ipotantes are so old they predate satyrs and centaurs.  In fact they were so loved, the creature was eventually split into two beings with two different personalities.  In this tale, Marsyas is coming to terms with being better than a god in public and how that just isn’t a done deal.  In love or not, it’s a death deal.  [Tied Up For Love – all romance and amazon]

The sixth and final tale picks up with Leda and Zeus again and, well, there’s a fabulous twist to tie up their story and the series.  [Mythological Messes Redux – all romance and amazon]

Next I thought I’d share a excerpt to give you a hint of what goes on … no heat, although all of these stories are all very hot!  Some have ménages, bondage, and more, so you’ve been warns 🙂
