Horned lizards are called horny toads but really are not frogs or toads. They are reptiles ““ lizards. Here is a photo of one in Arizona. They come in a range of gray, tan and brown colors to blend pretty well with their habitat. In some areas they are even a nice coral-y pink! They can be found from the California deserts to Texas and up into Nevada, Utah and Colorado at least.
