You will probably get several ‘welcome’ messages to day. Here is why. Your Starbooks Barrista kinda messed up. I wound up with a conflict of obligations because I have a doctor’s appointment with my allergy specialist in a town about 70 miles from my home! That means a long hour’s drive on a highway that is sometimes closed for an hour unannounced because it runs across the White Sands Missile Range and there can be ‘issues’ where they stop traffic. No more than an hour since it is a US highway but that could play havoc with getting somewhere on time and you know how sticky doctors are about that! Their time is so valuable but you may have to wait half an hour or more for them!!

So I will be out of pocket a good part of the day. I hope this never happens again but no promises. Anyway our wonderful mistress, tech guruess and Most Worthy Leader Karenne will be in and out as will Sabrina, my marvelous assistant and contest diva and steadfast backup person!! My huge ginormous thanks to both of them for helping me in this jam!! Without their help it would have been a catastrophe!

Our fun scavenger hunt today was Sabrina’s brain-child and I love it! The letters will pop up in posts all day and you have to collect them all and figure out the name they spell–one of my all time fave cowboy characters BTW–in order to win. The rules will be given several times so pay attention. You have to follow them to win. Every author will have one and others will pop up in the other messages so be eagle-eyed and shoot ’em down.
