Ereaders

Since I sold my book to an epublisher, I’ve discovered a whole new world! I found so many new, inspirational stories I wanted to read. I got tired of downloading to my computer because it wasn’t easy to handle. I couldn’t take it out by the pool. Love that swimming! For my anniversary, my husband bought me a Nook. I didn’t think I’d ever give up holding a book in my hands and I haven’t”¦ not completely. But what I didn’t expect was all the new things I’d find!

I love free reads and the dollar downloads. Because my schedule is so hectic, I don’t have many blocks of time to read. These short little stories are a great pick-me-up during the day and have become a part of my routine.

Since I’m travelling, I love the fact that I’m not carrying 2 or 3 books in my suitcase. In fact, I have 5 or 6 on my Nook at any given time. It works just as great at home when I’m picking up grandkids from school, in-between softball games or waiting at the doctor!

I love, love, love the fact that I can download instantly. If I hear about a book I want to read, I go to my computer, download it and start reading. Never expected that! And yes, we still go to the bookstore and just browse. I’ve just doubled my reading!

Those are the unexpected things I love about my ereader. Anyone else have some new discoveries? Or are you holding out and holding on to that paperback? Tell us how you feel!
