Christmas is just around the corner. The kids will be out of school, snow might hit the ground, and eggnog will abound. There's not too much to beyotch about. Ok, so snow isn't my favorite thing, but it sure bounces the light of the Christmas trees really nice, and Hannukah candles cast a lovely glow off the sparkly white stuff. From inside the warm house, snow is quite lovely–and spiked eggnog make everrrything nice. Of course, lest we forget, there's Santa and his wonderful gifts.
I adore Christmas music. There is something so unique about this season's music, and it really puts me in a festive mood. At the top of my favorite Christmas songs are 'Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer.'
I know, not very reverent, but it really is funny. Of course, one of the great modern Christmas songs/arrangments is The Little Drummer Boy by the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. Pure magic. If you haven't heard this one, you must.
A very safe and happy holiday to you and yours.
