My favorite romance hero changes often. Right now it is once again Roarke from the J.D. Robb in death series.

Can I say Rochester? I know he's an arrogant, selfish aldulterer but he's true in his feelings for Jane. He uses his wit and words as a way to keep most people at bay, but Jane is mad of sterner stuff and he falls for the governess. He never apologizes for loving her and doesn't understand why she does fall all over herself for hime. I like he because he has so much room to grow.

My favorite romance hero of all time is Gregory from Dark Magician, a Christine Feehan book. It is the most reread book I own; infact, I need another copy as this one is falling apart. I love Gregory because he is huge and looks mean; all Carparthians are told scary stories of him. Yet, he is kind and loving towards his lifemate and takes care of all the Carparthains. Sexy, tough, and sweet!

OK, I might be going a bit old school, showing my years a bit, BUT I always go back to the book Forgiving by Lavyrle Spencer.
The character (Hero) Noah is everything I find appealing in a hero, pliably (is that a word?) head strong. He is firmly etched in my head as a man's man but is completely OK with who Sarah (The female lead) is.

ROFL. Love it! Innocent, then turn sluty. I sooo, don't know anyone like that. My favorite hero? That's a toughie. I have to go along with Candace. Rhett Buttler is at the top of my list. He really was true to himself.

So, ever since I read the Fever Series by Karen Marie Moning, Jerico Barrons has been my favorite hero ever… he walks the line between good and bad because he is not really good, but he's not all bad either, and he's HOT! He is the ultimate alpha hero, and i love him *sigh*

Gah, there are so many… The most recent one is Tarquin Compton (or rather, his alter ego Terence Fish) of Miranda Neville's The Amoroous Education of Celia Seaton. As Terence, he was so sweet and considerate. Aw…

My heroes change as I read, but one has always stayed to the forefront of my mind. If I have to choose I'm going for looks, determination and being sexily crafty: Roarke

I have so many favorite heroes, but the first was probably Roarke from the Eve Dallas series. I think he was the first hero that was part of a series, that kept drawing me back for more stories. Favorite movie hero was Hawkeye (Daniel Day Lewis) in the Last of the Mohican's movie.

So many to choose from, but J.D. Robb's Roarke tops the list!

My favorite hero changes with the books I read, but I'm partial to shifters. Maybe it's all that hot blooded testosterone! I love Adam, Sam and Charles from the Mercy Thompson series. I also love ALL the men in the Meredith Gentry series (well almost all of them *sheepish blush*). So many others on my TBR pile, I'm sure I'll have new fave heroes by next month!

Thanks so much for the giveaway! I can't wait to read Studenstein…

I have to say, this is the series that fueled my reading frenzy – about feb. 2006 I retired from teaching and found a new job at a local military exchange(like a store)it was a great job for a retired person and one day they got in a collection of romance/paranormal novels – after all the years teaching youngsters, I thought why not enjoy a little pleasure reading and WOW I didn’t even know these kind of books were out there and now i’m hooked
