Good Morning Everyone,
Here in the mid-west it’s 6ish in the a.m., and I’m not an early bird riser. Smile.
I was told to start the day by telling you a bit about myself. I grew up in a small farming community where I belonged to 4-H. The only thing in 4-H, I really learned was how to make cookies, cakes and pies. Sewing didn’t become one of my accomplishments. Grin.
As a kid, I always had my nose stuck in a book, and that doesn’t mean school books either. lol I was a dreamer and a reader of far off places. As I grew out of childhood and into adolescent I read more of exotic places and my desire to see the world grew.
At 19, I started working for a major airline, and I got my wildest desire to travel. I worked there for 36 years before retiring.
During that time, I started writing, and then I reached my second wildest dream. In 2008, my first book was published.
Do I dream big? Oh, yes, I do. Why not? You only fail when you quit, and I’ve never been a quitter.
Good morning back at you! Congrats on living your dreams! I’m another big dreamer, and some of mine are coming true, too, since I’ve self-published. It’s all good.
Edie, I believe in dreaming big. You may not reach the highest, but you’ll get in there somewhere.
