All throughout history, men have had trouble dealing with women. Many are not afraid to admit that fact. Where men often ask direct basic questions, women tend to ask complicated ones. It is just the way the cycle works. Many husbands comment they do not know how to relate to their wives. Of course the same has been said of women. The Mr. & Mrs. Happy Handbook is full of great wisdom and some witty comments.
The book relays some excellent pointers on love, marriage and family life. Mr. Doocy, and wife, Kathy, have been married for twenty years. They have seen ups and downs and faced many obstacles. As co-host of Fox & Friends, Mr. Doocy brings real slice-of-life stories with joy and laughter. Just reading some of his statements, almost makes one wonder has he been outside the door listening in. He is so in tune to the household.
The audience will also share in comments from Kathy who, after living with Steve for years, has her own witty humor to toss in the pages. Together they show how after saying, ‘I do,’ the wedded bliss takes on a different shape and form, especially after the honeymoon. Marriages are not always easy but learning to laugh, and love, even during the roughest periods of time, makes things run a bit smoother. This book sends a great message to those already married, those who are planning to wed, and frankly for anyone who wants a good read with some funny moments. With Mr. Happy’s advice and Mrs. Happy’s advice, along with their recipe for a happy marriage, bliss is only pages away.
The Mr. & Mrs. Happy Handbook by Steve Doocy is a rip-roaring, delectable journey into the life of marriage, with challenges after the wedding, along with the entering of pitter patter of little feet into the picture. I thought the scene where Steve was hit in the nose by the box was hilarious, when he was doing the cat-like flexes. Not because he was hit, but he blamed it on Richard Simmons who was not even there. The humor inside this book really enhances everything concerning love and marriage. There were some moments when the author mentioned things that I could relate to. Though not an advice book, I found it a great inspiration and a wonderful manual that is incredibly marvelous.
