Will Cooper’s grief and Annabeth’s guarded heart prevent them from uncovering the truth—and their feelings for each other—before it’s too late?

I discovered writing in college. When I graduated I created a list of things I wanted to accomplish before I was 30. Writing a novel was number one on that list. It took 35 years for that 20-year-old’s goal to get checked off the list.

In November 2019, I participated for the first time in NaNoWriMo. It was something I’d always wanted to do but couldn’t because of work commitments. Once I become a full-time RVer and was no longer constrained by time, I jumped into the challenge with abandon. I successfully completed National Novel Writing Month by writing more than 50,000 words in 30 days. That effort was the first draft of Alaska Shelter, my first published book which came out earlier this year.
