Ok, remember that we are talking about living during a time when people were just learning about using mechanical propulsion, lighting that didn’t involve flame, and all kinds of deprivation that are thankfully, not a part of society today. When I look around at all of the things I take for granted, I can’t imagine existing in the conditions that folks lived in, although I guess if you have never known anything different, you can’t miss what you don’t have, right? Of course, I am the person who won’t go camping unless it involves a hotel with internet, air conditioning, a restaurant”¦well, you get the picture, lol. What would you be unable to live without? What would you invent in today’s society if science and magic could mesh?
