Good Morning everyone! My name is Danielle and I am a reviewer for Coffee Time Romance for those of you who do not know me. I figured I would start off by introducing myself and telling you a little about me. I was born in London, England where I lived to the ripe old age of six months. From there we moved to Lubbock, Texas then to Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas, Nevada. From there we moved to northern New York in a place called Plattsburgh. Now I reside in a little town in Northern Michigan, a place called East Jordan. We have one stop light, so when I say little I seriously mean little, LOL. 
I figure now is a good time for my first question, but first some background storytelling for it. Growing up I had a pretty easy life until I turned ten, when my parents separated and then got divorced. After that my mom went a little batty and wild and by the time I was 12 years old I was raising my 8 year old brother. At age sixteen I was not rebelling and partying like others my age. I was cooking, cleaning, and looking for my mother who had snuck out to go to the parties, LOL. I am ok with this now as I see it as building my character. Skipping to when my husband and I first got married. We had a really hard first year of marriage. The month after we were married, our truck got repossessed, we got kicked out of our apartment, and we had to move in with his parents. Two months later I got pregnant. So needless to say things were rough. However, almost a year to the day after we got married, we moved into our new apartment and not long later our son was born. We are much better now ten years later but I feel if we had not had a rough start, we would not be married now. In my opinion too many people figure marriage is easy and should not have to be worked at. Ok, background telling done, now for the question.
If you could describe your life as a title in an advice column, what would it be? For me it would be:
TRAVELING CROOKED ROADS LEADS TO THE RIGHT DESTINATION.

My life has had it’s ups and downs. I am a personal believer in the statement that you have to know pain to know true joy and happiness.

17 years agoWhat is it about us Michigan girls? Life is rough, hard and sometimes a little nasty, but we figure out a way to make it! While mine wasn’t exactly like yours, it was quite similar!

My dad had a stroke at the age of 37. So now I am still dealing wiht it but then have learned a lot too. 🙂

17 years ago AUTHORLeila that is so true! Kimberly, we Michiganers are strong women, we have to be to survive the winters here, LOL. Krista, I know how devistating sickness can be. I lost my father to lung cancer when he was 55 and last year I lost my 5 year old nephew to a heart attack. Katie, I hope things get better for you. Any kind of infidelity sticks with you always and I hope you can grow stronger from it. I know it doesn’t help much but I wish the best of you!

17 years agoChoosing the Road Less Travelled…Repeatedly
My hubby and I met and married in London, England. Both of us were foreigners working in a foreign land. We decided that we would prefer to be together rather than be apart. So instead of going home to the US after my half year abroad as I’d planned, we ended up kicking around the world while my husband worked on various aid projects. We have finally landed where I began in life and are settling down with our kids. It has been amusing to find that I feel alot like I am a foreigner learning the local ways…but since I don’t speak with an accent, people are a lot less forgiving of mistakes. 😯

17 years ago AUTHORWell Little Lamb, that is true no matter where you go. I remember someone once making a comment about rumors and small towns. I told her that you will get rumors wherever you go. Same goes for judgmental people. Just keep your chin up and remember that you have the most important people’s opinion right by you, your family.
