Getting kicked out of the house is the response Ross Haven gets when he tells his father he is gay. Sadly he worries more about leaving his brother Rhys behind than finding a new place to live.

The internship with EnerGen International is a great start for Lee Pearce. He is enjoying the work, and making some good friends at the same time.

Ross pushes aside the hurt and settles in to his new life. Rhys’s visits are great, and making a friend in Lee is even better. With a drunk for a father, Ross has been dedicated to keeping Rhys safe, making it hard to break out of the wall he has built around himself. It is kind of nice to finally do something for himself, especially with Lee who makes it so easy to share everything.

There is camaraderie between Ross and Lee that makes them feel like they have been friends forever. Ross is cautious and serious, but with Lee’s more carefree attitude, he begins to open up as well. This progression from friendship to a more physical relationship feels smooth and natural. I love their easy-going banter, and when it leads to something more it is even hotter.
