Ms. Martin’s novels are always a great balance of suspense and romance and this is no exception. Tory is a terrific character; strong, organized and determined to get away from the evil Damon. Josh is no less determined, and a war hero in addition to being a hot cowboy. I loved the subplot of the angry stallion and his response to Tory. He seemed to recognize a fellow victim of abuse. If you love romantic suspense and contemporary western romance, this is the book for you, enjoy!
