Congrats to my two winners:
Chey and Cories
I’m so happy that you stopped in to join me today! My plan is that you’ll let me know what your thoughts are on the above subjects so we can have some fun!
I’m a romance author living in the Pacific Northwest with a hero of my very own! *happy sigh* He’s been calling himself Mr. Jewel …hhhmmm…hope that’s not a bad thing! We have two Siamese cats, Sinbad and Zoie, who keep us entertained. I’m originally from mid-Michigan and now live in Idaho. It’s warmer here and no humidity to speak of, unlike Michigan where the mosquitoes will carry you away!
Although I didn’t plan it this way, all three of my novels seem to touch on finding love a second time, soul mates, and reincarnation, which brings us to the ghosts. I don’t feel those topics are so far-fetched that my readers can’t relate and I’ve received many nice emails and comments about how they enjoy the stories. I’d love to chat today about YOUR thoughts on these topics so please leave your comments so we can do just that!
No Turning Back Book Trailer Never Surrender Book Trailer
When I begin a book, I have a plot in mind, then it seems I have to find photos of what my characters look like that match my mind’s eye o f the character. Once I get that far and connect the photo with the plot, the characters jump right in and take over, telling me their ideas of where my story will go. (This is what happened with Nathan over there! LOL We all love eye candy and those eyes of his will melt your heart…among other things!) I’m lucky in this respect because I seem to have endless ideas and hope that continues for me; some have writer’s block that I’ve not had to deal with yet.
So…have some of you seen spirits? I’ve not had that opportunity yet. Do you believe in reincarnation? This is very strong with me because so many people experience things they think have happened before – exact locations or people around them, etc. Do you enjoy reading novels where reincarnation is a part of the story line? Let’s have some fun with this! Comment here so we can all join in…..thanks bunches!
I’m also having a giveaway – a signed copy of one of my books – winner’s choice – and there will be TWO winners pulled from those who comment and the winners will be drawn on Sunday afternoon!

15 years agoI haven’t seen any spirits. I do believe in reincarnation. I don’t think I’ve read any novels that involve reincarnation. I think I’d enjoy them.

15 years agoHi! The first time I learned about reincarnation I was about six-years-old and I thought, “of course!” even though that is not part of my family’s beliefs. I tell people that reincarnation is the ultimate recycling. 🙂
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a ghost but I did hear the ghost of the family dog for a couple of days after his passing. Does that count?
As for reincarnation in books, I guess it would depend on how it is handled. I like to think that even a reincarnated soul is still himself or herself in this lifetime.

15 years agoHi Deanna. Just stopping by to say hello. Waving. I do believe in ghosts/spirits. Have not seen any but; had weird things happen to me that make me believe. Never met my soul mate so not sure on that one. Reincarnation is possible I think. I have not read a book with reincarnation yet but; it sounds like an interesting subject. I have had dajvu(spell??)moments that’s for sure.

15 years agoSue, Corie and Chey…thank you so much for stopping by. Reincarnation and soul mates are part of my first novel, Never Surrender, where Taima IS Brandon from the past. I will be doing sequel to that one day and Brandon and Kate’s story will continue. If you enjoy time travels, I hope you read that one.
Thanks for stopping in today! I do appreciate it.

15 years agoHi Diana
Sorry to pop in here late. Oh, I so agree about having a picture of a here to mke the story ‘take off’. That’s happened with several of my own.
And Nathan! I’ve had the plesure of ‘meeting’ him before on your blog appearances, and I agree, those eyes!
As for reincarnation, I think it’s a good explanation for why certain places and things can seem so familiar. I swear my current dog is the reincarnation of a dog I had several years ago, he has the same quirky ways and shows his love in exactly the same ways. I haven’t written a novel about reincarnation but I’ve just finished a short story on that theme,
