Georgia is beautiful and intelligent. She always tries to do the right thing to please her mother, but is tired of being good.

Logan is a star baseball player, a writer, and a player. He had a hellish childhood and is ready to get out of his father’s house and go to college.

Georgia was recently dumped by her longtime boyfriend who calls her boring. She is so tired of always doing the right thing and wants to find her wild side. She finds herself rejected by Logan Mulvaney and is determined to prove to him she is not as goody goody as he thinks.

This is my first experience with the New Adult genre, and I like it. Georgia is living too much under her mother’s thumb and is deeply unhappy. Logan is pretty much raising himself and is very disciplined and driven, despite his player reputation. Their relationship is pretty realistic–the major conflict being their small age difference and the fact he is just graduating high school. I liked Georgia’s relationship with her friends and their significant others and with Annie, who is that almost friend who hangs around the fringes of every group causing trouble with her jealousy. I am looking forward to reading the rest of the series.
