Today has been a lot of fun. I am seeing some new names pop up in the comments which is very kewl! We’ve shared soem good recipes and a bit of fun and it isn’t over yet. About two hours to go until the formal closing but everyone is welcome to keep talking and reading and such as late as they wish.

Before I forget I do want to mention two more holidays–I think Christmas gets all the press it needs LOL–but New Year’s is special too and Kwaanza (sp?) that many of our African American friends celebrate to bring some of their own different traditons into the mix and remind the children of their heritage. So December and early January is one busy, fun season. I do hope and pray that each of you has a very wonderful time and can share and celebrate with lots of freinds and loved ones. Mine will likely be on the quiet side but that is okay. Crowds kind of make me nervous anymore and the idea of cooking a huge ‘state dinner’ as my late hubby used to call them scares me spitless. I’m sure I will see some friends and family and contact others by mail, phone and the cyber links anyway!
