Hello, everybody! For those who don’t know me, my name is Lindsay. I write erotic romance (among other things) under the name L. K. Below. Currently, I’m living just shy of the Arctic circle. So I’m more than ready to get cozy and chat today! Now, let me move on to introducing my book…

One Kiss”¦
Dangling over the parapet of a castle, Kelsey Donovan doubts her decisions as she battles with her fear of heights. How will kissing the Blarney Stone change her life? But as the arms of a sexy Irishman close around her, she begins to change her mind.
Can it lead to a lifetime?
When Seamus McKinley rescues a tourist gripping the Blarney Castle for dear life, he never expected her to grab hold of his heart just as tightly. But can he convince her to meet him halfway?

Excerpt:
“It’s late,” she muttered. “I should be going.”
Glancing at the clock, he raised his eyebrows, but he stood with her. “It’s early yet, lass.”
“I’m still on New York time.” As she realized it was even earlier there than it was here, she winced. “Jet lag,” she added. “I still have jet lag.”
He loomed over her. Not in a menacing way, but still, she soon found her back pressed up against the door. He stood not a foot in front of her. Instead of meeting his eyes, she fixed her gaze on his throat, and the twitch of his pulse. The steady thrum seemed to hypnotize her and even though he didn’t touch her, his heat bracketed her, pinning her in place. The subtle, spicy scent of his cologne swirled around her head more than the whiskey or the wine she’d drank earlier. As his breath teased her hair, she nearly swayed into his arms. Instead, she held herself still.
She wanted to look away, but as his fingers curled under her chin, she couldn’t. His touch was electrifying, shimmying through her. “Didn’t mean to scare ye, lass,” he said in that soft rumble of his. “Let’s not speak of it.”
Even so, she couldn’t get his words out of her head. More alarming, a part of her wanted that image of a family. This wasn’t like her. Before now, she had always been rational, even when it came to love. But now–he seemed to be leading her by the heartstrings. And that scared her most of all, because it would never work out. Aside from the fact that they lived half a world apart, he would never be able to understand her commitment to her career. No man ever had.
Still, when he leaned in, murmuring, “Ye can stay for a spell longer, lass,” she began to sway. And when he added, “I wouldn’t be opposed if ye decided to stay the night,” she lost her will entirely.
Wetness gushed between her thighs, soaking her panties. The promise in his voice had her shivering. Some siren inside her, so unlike her, played on the rough edge of lust to his voice. Maybe it was the wine, she couldn’t say. Either way, she was helpless to stop herself. Leaning forward, and up on her tiptoes, she ran her cheek along his stubble until her lips met his ear. Giving in to her shiver of delight, she whispered huskily, “But if I stayed, I wouldn’t have anything to wear to bed.”
Like magic, she watched a shudder run through him. With a smile, she glanced down, checking to see her effect on him. His erection strained against the fabric of his jeans.
Never before had she felt so alive, so powerful. Doubly so when he rumbled, “I wouldn’t object to that, lass. In fact, I encourage it.”
“Is that so?” she whispered, teasing him. Feeling empowered, she traced a pattern over his chest as she waited for his answer.
His gaze caught hers and held it. “Yes, it is,” he said simply, roughly, and then his lips descended.

14 years ago AUTHORCindy – considering that Kelsey is afraid of love as well as heights, Seamus probably is the more dangerous choice!
Thanks for coming out 😀
