Faythe Sanders isn’t your ordinary girl, no she’s a werecat, a shape-shifter. In the first book in this series titled Stray, she’s been able to get away with not doing what her Pride demanded of her for years, which is getting married and starting a family, but after an attack on her Pride by a stray things change in her life in more ways than one. She’s called back to the Pride by her father, the Alpha, for her safety. Faythe’s got this ‘Yeah right, I can take care of myself’ kind of attitude about it, but goes back anyway to find that other tabbies are missing. She’s also confronted with Marc, who is one of her father’s enforcers, his second-in-command in fact, and her ex-boyfriend. He still loves her, but she’s not ready to settle down. When she is taken, things really get moving. She has to save herself and her cousin, call for help and find the ones that got away.
In Rogue, the second book in the series, Faythe has rejoined the Pride and is the first female enforcer ever. She has a lot to prove not only to herself, but especially to her father. With dead toms turning up and a string of missing human women, she’s going to get her chance especially since it’s found that a lot of this can be laid at her feet because of something that wasn’t thought to be able to happen. Along with her partner Marc, and the other enforcers, she’s about to find out just exactly what’s at stake.
Pride is the third book and in it we see Faythe in the most trouble she’s ever been in in her entire life. She’s on trial for her life and it’s not pretty. She’s being accused of not only exposing herself to a human, but infecting him and killing him in an attempt to cover it up as well. There’s also a rogue out there chasing a wild teen tabby cat and causing a lot of problems. Faythe’s sure that she can help the tabby and find the rogue along with her partner Marc’s help, but that’s if she can survive her trial.
The most recent book in this awesome series is Prey. Since I haven’t read this book as yet (it’s on my TBR pile to read next), I’m putting the blurb up instead of writing what I know.
SOMETIMES PLAYING CAT AND MOUSE IS NO GAME…
Play? Right. My Pride is under fire from all sides, my father’s authority is in question, and my lover is in exile. Which means I haven’t laid eyes on Marc’s gorgeous face in months. And with a new mother and an I-know-everything teenager under my protection, I don’t exactly have time to fantasize about ever seeing him again.
Then our long-awaited reunion is ruined by a vicious ambush by strays. Now our group is under attack, Marc is missing, and I will need every bit of skill and smarts to keep my family from being torn apart. Forever.
