This spring I have two new works coming out through Rebel Ink Press
The first is a short included in the Tempting Cupid Anthology and it is titled “My Humiliating Valentine”
Miranda Vincent awoke the morning after Valentine’s Day- in jail- with no memory of the night before, a long list of charges against her, and a very scary cellmate. Her only way out is to put her trust in a handsome stranger.
This story was written as an exercise for my writing group. Originally titled “Bag Story”, one of the members of my group handed me a bag with five random objects, and asked me to write a story.
Accidental Intent is my first foray into romantic murder mystery storytelling scheduled for release in Spring 2012.
The most exciting thing to happen in Longmont, Colorado recently is the new flavor of coffee at the local coffee shop. For one local dog trainer that is about to change. When her best friend stumbles upon a dead body, a new coffee is the least of Lucy’s concerns.
The seemingly quiet life that Lucy Lafferty has grown to love unravels the moment her
on again/off again lover begins to imagine a relationship that doesn’t exist. It grows even more complicated when she meets Nicolai Petrovski, a handsome detective who makes her blood boil, her knees weak, and her fingers itch to grab a fistful of jet-black hair.
When Lucy finds her name on the killer’s short list of victims, her first concern is for her furry four- legged family. Her second is for the closely guarded secret hidden in the back of her closet.
Conference calls and coffee dates with her best friends, Lucy wades through the complicated world of love, honor, betrayal and the allure of a very hot man. But is there enough coffee to keep her one step ahead of the killer, two steps ahead of a drug lord, and as far away from trouble as she can get?
And my current wip (writerspeak for Work in Progress) Is another romantic comedy tentatively titled Midsummer Night Seduction. Three friends, three different stages of relationships- One is angry for being jilted, one in denial over her feelings for her best friend, and one in bliss planning her wedding.
