Hello Coffee Readers!
Today we have a treat. Sandra Hill is going to tell us all about your new book which is releasing on the 26th, Viking in Love!
Don’t you just love that name…Viking in Love and the cover…sigh we all know how much I like the ‘bodice riper’ typer covers (wink)
Maura was lucky enough (there was a squabble over who would get this book) to read and review this book; and she LOVED it
This is a very funny story. The author puts a very modern spin on the tale without losing the atmosphere of the era. This makes it much easier for the average reader to follow. The characters are vividly quirky from the big breasted maids in the keep to the lecherous and greedy King Edgar, but the main characters are unforgettable. The dialogue is very witty, and the plot never palls. Ms. Hill also has a gift for writing exceptional love scenes, and I will never look at a candle the same way again.

How about a blurb for the book we are all going to be wanting by the end of today:
All Lord Caedmon of Larkspur wants, after nine long months in the king’s service, is a bit of peace…not five bothersome Viking princesses who invade his keep, especially not the fiery redhead, Breanne. He has half a mind to kick her tempting arse out the door…but wait…he has a much more wickedly delightful plan for this thorn in his…um, side.
Princess Breanne of Stoneheim is shocked at Larkspur’s rundown condition with servants and children running wild whilst Caedmon lies abed after a night of mead and, no doubt, wanton bedsport. Breanne must endure the loathsome lout to protect her four sisters. She can hardly imagine what this knight will demand of her in return.
(Rubs hands together evilly) Lets start with teh interrogation…I mean questions for Sandra (wink)
What’s about Vikings makes them so interesting to you personally? Is it true you can trace your own family back to the Vikings? What came first, your interest in genealogy or your Viking books?

15 years agoI just wanted to say Thank you for writing books that many generations can enjoy. My 80 year old mother calls me and just laughs as we talk about your latest book. Then she calls my 25 year old daughter and does the same. We all love your stories.
We think the Viking stories are the best, my daughter loves the Tante Lulu stories best but we all agree that your books are the ones we look forward to reading.
Do you have an idea when your next book after Viking in Love will be released?

a historical in September, THE VIKING TAKES A KNIGHT, and a time travel in October, THE DARK VIKING
